YOUTH
Information

This year Gulf Coast awarded the following youth members with scholarships:

KJ CRISP

TIFFANY COOPER

EMILY DREW

REAGAN WATSON

KATIE CARDENAS

Our Scholarship Fund relies on donations and funds raised at the annual event (golf tournament/casino night, etc.…) as well as special events (raffles, silent auctions, cake sales, ride-a-buck) held at horseshows. Member support is very much appreciated and all  donations are  tax deductible.

The GCjPHC was established to emphasize good horsemanship through proper methods of training both horse and rider; to provide recognition for young people who own or show Paint horses; to promote ideals of citizenship, sportsmanship, showmanship, and leadership, and to promote capabilities of youth in raising, and competing on Paint horses. A variety of activities are available and may include team tournaments, speech contests, art and essay contests, photography contests, youth clinics, scholarships, horse shows, meetings and banquets. There are programs designed for the beginning showman as well as those that challenge the most advanced exhibitor. Any individual 18 years of age or younger as of January 1st of the current year that are interested in Paint horses are eligible for Youth membership. This membership is included with a family fee or may be purchased separately. The APHjA has an annual general membership meeting held in conjunction with the World Championship Paint Youth Show.

Novice Youth & Novice Amatuer Winner's Circle

The Novice Youth & Novice Amatuer Winner's Circle has been expanded to include the following events: Showmanship, Horsemanship, English Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle & Western Pleasure!
